Barovier Art Deco Venetian chandelier with eight light points, 1940

Barovier Art Deco Venetian chandelier with eight light points, 1940

Today, we are pleased to present to you an exceptional Italian chandelier from 1940!

This chandelier features an elegant, rectangular brass frame with retro yet modern lines, highlighted by arms made of Venetian glass with a spiral motif, characteristic of designer Ercole Barovier, making it a unique piece of craftsmanship. This transparent glass chandelier has eight arms finished with floral fittings in the shape of flared, upward-facing crowns. The entire structure is decorated with wrought brass elements.

Traditional Venetian craftsmanship is combined here with contemporary lines, creating an alternating connection between transparent blown glass shapes and shiny, luminous brass. This dialogue of different materials highlights the extraordinary elegance and versatility of this Italian chandelier.

It comes from a private collection in Milan and uses eight E27 bulbs. Cleaned, polished, and rewired according to European standards, it is fully functional and ready to use. The glass is in good condition, with replaceable elements, free of chips and cracks. This antique chandelier can be disassembled, and the glass will be packed separately for easy transport.

That is why it is worth examining how roofing influences the perception of the entire property and why today it is discussed in the context of prestige, not just protection from rain.
