What does hotel adults only mean?

A stay at a hotel without children offers peace and quiet, privacy, a romantic atmosphere, and space for yourself. It also provides friendly conditions for business meetings, relaxing with friends, and celebrating quality time together.

The term “adults only” refers to hotels that offer services for adult guests, typically over the age of 18. Such places focus on a relaxing atmosphere, romance, intimacy, leisure, and overall tranquility, making them attractive for couples, business travelers, and those seeking a momentary escape from everyday duties and the hustle and bustle of family life. The fast pace of life and the omnipresent flood of information make more and more people appreciate the benefits of relaxation in an adults-only hotel.

What does an adults-only hotel mean?

Adults-only hotels embody the idea of “child-free zone”, which is gaining increasing popularity in the modern world. In Poland, the pioneer of this trend is the Mazovian hotel Manor House SPA, which has been accepting only guests over the age of 12 since 2014 and is expanding its attractions for adults.

Dorota Tokarska, Marketing Director of Manor House SPA hotel, emphasizes that the decision to introduce an age restriction was driven by the desire to create a space where guests can enjoy peaceful relaxation and SPA & wellness treatments, away from the noise and energy of young children. At the same time, it is a way to meet the needs of parents who want to momentarily detach from their children and daily hustle. Although some may find such a need surprising, awareness is growing that a rested parent is more attentive and patient.

Furthermore, moments spent in a relaxing environment can benefit not only adults but also their children, who can deepen bonds with other family members during this time. It is also worth noting that as a hotel aimed at the 12+ age group, we create offers for adults, not for children like family hotels. We organize, among other things, night sauna sessions, night gong concerts with mantling in the pool, yoga classes, and many energetic treatments in the Bio-Revitalization Suites, and we also have numerous meditation spaces.

Who are adults-only hotels for?

They are ideal for people who do not have children or parents of teenagers and adult children who are not accustomed to the noise that young children can cause. It is also a sanctuary for couples who have been trying for a long time to have children and are looking for an oasis where they won’t encounter families with kids. The silence and tranquility of a child-free hotel also foster business meetings, conferences, training sessions, and corporate trips. Such places provide comfortable conditions for those who want to work creatively in an environment tailored to their needs.

- The Manor House SPA is primarily visited for romantic getaways, relaxation in the SPA and weekends with friends. We often host groups of friends who want to spend leisurely time chatting and pampering themselves in the SPA. We also gladly welcome pairs of friends and sisters, mothers with teenage daughters or senior mothers, and even three generations of women. Popular are gift stays for loved ones, wedding or parents' celebrations, anniversaries, and special events, e.g., bachelorette parties in the SPA  - adds Dorota Tokarska
