Three porcelain fruit bowls from Meissen and gold, 1850, in good condition. This set of three bowls is hand-painted with gold flowers, leaves, and flora on a blue and white background. The bowl is polychromed and divided into sections featuring highly detailed figures, romantic scenes, and landscapes, interwoven with blue accents. The entire bowl is framed with a beautiful border.
It stands on a round base decorated with the same blue and gold polychrome with painted flowers and miniature figures and landscapes. The bowl, each plate of the stand, used for storing fruit or sweets, is supported on a pedestal, attached to the base with a threaded brass core.
This set of three fruit or sweet bowls made of German porcelain bears a blue Meissen mark depicting two crossed swords on the bottom. They come from a private collection and are in good condition, with no cracks or restorations.
