Today we would like to present to you an exceptionally original table censer, made of gilded bronze.
This product features an extraordinary typology: on a stepped base, two putti hold a genuine shell crowned by an angel with a censer in hand; on the sides, two saints are supported on the base—one holding a key and a triregnum, the other a pectoral cross and a book.
The composition of this ancient gilded ewer is well thought out and absolutely original, originating from central Italy, from the first half of the 19th century. It is in good condition, aside from minor gilding wear on the base.
