We are pleased to present to you an original heart-shaped box.
London, 1895-96, decorated on the lid with an embossed landscape featuring a figure in the foreground holding a long pipe and a hat. The lid opens on a side hinge.
The edge is adorned with embossed grapevine tendrils. On the back of this antique 19th-century silver box, there is a double assay mark identifying the goldsmith WM from London from 1895-96, with a silver fineness of 925/000.
The heart-shaped pill box is made of high-quality silver. It comes from a private collection in Lombardy and is in good condition, with no signs of wear.
