We are pleased to present to you a unique painting depicting the Madonna.
This is an oil painting on canvas from the early 19th century depicting the Madonna inside a room with a green curtain, confidently removing fabrics from a basket while holding the Child, dressed in a white gown, on her lap.
To the right of it, in front of a window surrounded by grapevine foliage, stands Saint Joseph reading a book. The canvas is in good condition; this ancient painting originates from an Italian school and dates from the early 19th century. It is presented in a carved and gilded frame of modern craftsmanship.
On the back, there is a Geri label.
