Edvard Cohen (Hanover 1838 - Frankfurt am Main 1910), landscape painter from Hanover, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and Dresden. This ancient mountain landscape is presented in an exquisite, gilded frame of a French pastille; it is in excellent condition, lined, and comes from a private residence in Lombardy.
