This is an oil on canvas depicting a three-masted brigantine named Giuseppina under the Italian flag, sailing through the English Channel. The painting is created on an original canvas in excellent condition, framed in a gilded wooden frame.
The canvas measures 60 x 101 cm. John Henry Mohrmann was a painter born in Germany in 1857, active in Antwerp, Belgium, and died in 1916. The painting is signed and dated in the lower left corner.
