Today we would like to present to you an original ceramic umbrella stand in the shape of graffiti, decorated with fish – circa 1950.
Ceramic umbrella stand in graffiti shape, decorated with fish, circa 1950, made in Umbria, as indicated by the graffiti under the base Perugia Italy D625, adorned with colors of the Vietri tradition.
The geometric band on a brown background at the base, decorated with shades of yellow, blue, and red, supports stones of the seabed, from which branches of corals and various plants branch out, over which fish, starfish, jellyfish, and various mollusks swim. The underwater environment is particularly realistically depicted with painted bubbles and skillfully drawn graffiti of wave motion. In perfect condition.
