Today we are pleased to present to you an original ceramic figurine, dated 1933.
Figure of a woman by Lenci from 1933, known as „Raccettazione”, created by Helen Konig Scavini (1886–1974), depicts a woman in a veil with crossed hands. Made of cast terracotta, it is decorated with polychrome enamel in shades of yellow and brown on a black background.
Under the base, there is an inscription: Lenci: MADE IN ITALY Turin 7-3-33 – XI – IE.
This model by Elena Scavini from the 1930s is an art deco ceramic sculpture with a narrowing silhouette and very modern polychrome decoration. It is in good condition, after restoration.
