Today, we would like to present to you a unique bronze figure of a Cocker Spaniel dog.
Italian bronze dog sculpture, signed and dated Leonardo Secchi 1942, depicting a sitting Cocker Spaniel. The cast in bronze rests on a black marble base depicting a sitting dog.
The figure is in excellent condition; one of the two threaded mounting tubes for attaching the sculpture to the base has been replaced with a marble base, as documented in one of the images.
On one side of the base, the sculptor's signature is written in cursive: Leonardo Secchi, and the year 42.
