We are pleased to present to you the new collection from the Portuguese brand Boca do Lobo. Today, we would like to introduce a distinctive and exceptionally luxurious chest of drawers.
This is a nod to the 7th century and a reference to French craftsmanship of that era. The contemporary sideboard is surrounded by hand-carved panels with decorative elements finished in high-gloss black or brown lacquer. The striking accent features an asymmetrical, hand-forged fitting of a polished brass sheet on the right side of the tabletop and the base detail.
The four doors reveal carved black elements inside, opening to a striking bronze mirror at the back and a single glass shelf. This distinctive sideboard is designed to enrich any living space—a masterpiece that brings centuries of history and the finest craftsmanship into contemporary design. Inspired by the grandeur and splendor of the 17th-century French court, it features architectural and artistic relics from that era and pays homage to the age of great thinkers.
Known for his ideals of a free and liberal society, Voltaire became synonymous with the Enlightenment thanks to the philosopher’s wit and his deist beliefs, which were based not on faith but on reason.
