Antique engravings of Rome - 1751

We are pleased to present to you extraordinary engravings depicting Rome.

Two engravings adapted from the work of Thomas Salmona in Venice, created by Gianbattista Albrizzi, in 26 volumes from 1737–1766. A depiction of all nations and peoples of the natural, political, and moral world, with new annotations and corrections of ancient and contemporary travelers. In particular, the scenes animated by figures refer to The Column of Emperor Antoninus at Via Flaminia in Rome and the Remains of the Arch of Emperor Constantine in Rome.

In good condition, in modern walnut frames with ebonized corners. The engraving measures cm. 18x23.
