Today, we would like to present to you an extraordinary ancient figure of a Cherub with wings, in its original condition, without restoration.
This gilded and lacquered winged cherub is particularly interesting because it has never undergone restoration of its lacquer or gilding, which are still present in their original condition.
As seen in the photos, the wing attachment has been repaired, and there are some gaps in the fingers of the left hand. It originally formed part of an altar or, at the very least, liturgical furnishings.
