Today we are pleased to present to you the original painting by Ernesto Fontana, from 1918!
This is an oil painting on canvas depicting a joyful scene of three children playing and rolling among pink flowers, signed in the upper right corner by Milanese artist E. Fontana, Milan 1837 – Cureglia, Switzerland 1918. Additionally, at the bottom left edge, it is again signed, dated, and dedicated to his friend Prof. Lorenzani.
The work is in excellent condition, framed in a carved and gilded wooden frame made of pure gold. On the lower edge of the frame, a brass plaque is engraved with the artist's name and the title of the work.
The canvas measures 30 x 24 cm and comes from a private Milanese collection. On the back of the frame, there is an inscription with the title, artist, and dedication to a friend.
