We are pleased to present to you a beautiful, antique carved wall sconce.
A large application featuring nine lights from the early 19th century, made of silver-plated wood, crafted by joining poplar planks into the shape of a large vase with a double handle, whose handles connect to the base with a continuous spiral pattern.

On the perimeter of this panel are nine iron arms with turned plates and candle holders. The finish is in two-tone silver: oxidized and dark in the central part, and matte in the peripheral sections. In the central area, scratched with chalk, is a symbol of prosperity, a vine branch with a bunch of grapes.

In good condition, with minimal damage to the silver plate. At the back of the application, minor flaws are visible, consistent with photographic details. The electrical installation complies with European standards and is functional. It comes from the furnishings of a private villa in Milan.
At the back, in the central part, there is a hook for hanging this impressive Italian wall lamp with nine light sources.
Northern Italy, early 19th century. The side handles are probably later additions.
