30 St Mary Axe in London became the inspiration for this beautiful writing collection. 30 St Mary Axe – a skyscraper located in the City of London, the main financial district of London, also known as 'Swiss Re' or 'Gherkin'.
The building, designed by Norman Foster, stands on the site of the Baltic Exchange office building, destroyed on April 10, 1992, in an IRA bombing.

The skyscraper has 40 floors and is 180 meters tall and is considered an eco-friendly building. Its cone-like shape reduces wind pressure and eliminates the 'draft' phenomenon at street level, often associated with tall buildings. The double glass facade protects against excessive heating in summer and provides insulation in winter.

The building has won many awards, including the prestigious Stirling Prize awarded by the Royal Institute of British Architects.

Each piece is crafted over an average of about 2 months. The distinctive profile is designed to fit perfectly in the hand, and the construction of this extraordinary pen combines with ergonomics.

This model breaks all appearance conventions – it is simply a fabulous cigar-shaped form, offering a fascinating aspect of negative space, mesh structure – creating a beautiful balance.

The inner barrel is made of solid silver – providing excellent balance, protected and reinforced with 22ct gold and rhodium.
Black diamonds set on the ends of the cap and barrel add value and luxury. The excellent writing comfort is enabled by a nib made of 18ct gold, with laser-cut initials of the manufacturer.
